Update: 16/09/2014

During this lesson I planned out a structure to follow when analysing each video. I began analysing my first video of choice after taking screenshots of this video.

Update: 05/09/2014

During this lesson I created a questionnaire to research information in order to find out how to effectively create a music video, digipak and an advertisement. I have printed this off to hand out to people to fill in, i plan on analysing and displaying this data once i have completed my music video analysis.

Brief

The brief: 

  A promotional package for the release of an album, to include a music promo video, together with two of the following three options:

• A website homepage for the band
• A digipak for the album's release
• A magazine advertisement for the digipak

09/09/2014 update- Today I decided to construct a digipak and a magazine advertisement to accompany my music video over a website homepage for the artist or band as I think I will be able to produce these products with a greater quality due to the skills gained on Photoshop during my AS Media Studies coursework. I began researching a range of artists I am interested in to decide which would be most suitable to analyse.
