Analysis
I think the lyrics to this song are very straight forward, its about having a good time and enjoying yourself, its repetitive and promotes itself. I think the fact that there is no clear storyline to it and its about dancing it would be well suited to a concept style video with aspects of performance. I think its easy to imagine the sort of music video to suit this song as its about dancing so you can imagine it being set at a concert with multiple people dancing, including aspects of performance when focusing on the stage.
I plan on creating a music video that promotes itself by showing people enjoying the song within the video, similarly to how the man in the White Noise- Disclosure music video is. I think Flume's Holdin on video was clever in the way that it was filmed at his concerts as not only would this mean he would save money from setting up props, costumes and set etc he as achieved an authentic video which displays everything to portray the genre, for instance the lighting and the colour used on set up of the stage. I plan to film at one or two music events of the same genre so that I am able to achieve a realistic atomosphere and overall display. I think it will be interesting to film from my point of view so that the audience are able to imagine themselves at the concert, showing the journey as well as the event.

Artist Casestudy: Shy FX

Shy FX, Andre Williams, is an English DJ and producer specialising in drum and bass. He is signed to Sound of the Underground Records, often abbreviated as S.O.U.R.

Williams emerged the British pop charts in mid- 1994 with "Original Nuttah", one of the most infectious Ragga-Jungle anthems of all time, and quickly became one of the Jungle's most respected producers.

He announced that his album, Larger Than Life, was originally scheduled for a 2011 release but has since been renamed Cornerstone and doesn't have a release date yet.

Drum and bass is a genre of electronic music with elements of dubstep.

Here are two examples of albums that Shy Fx has featured on, both display vibrant colours on top of a dark background and the text has a geometric style which gives off colour. On the first album cover the colour yellow is emitted from the text in a sound wave-like way. On the second album cover golden swirls and arrows weave around the text.





The most similar genre, to drum and bass, from the ones that I researched is dubstep, therefore I will follow the information from the research I discovered from this genre. I will ;
